Yoyogi Park is my favorite place to go on Sunday afternoons. You can see all kinds of strange and beautiful things there. Japanese folks of every possible hobby congregate there to practice their calling. The skateboarders skate, the BMXers BMX, the actors act, the gamers game, and the sleepers sleep. Most delightfully, the rockers rock.

It is an odd thing, but the Japanese tend to do everything that interests them in groups. If you are interested in rocking out, you never rock out alone in the privacy of your own home. Instead, you join a rocking out group and then you all go rock out together on Sunday in the park.

There are even people who spend their Sundays giving away free hugs to anyone who feels that they might need one. People are very strange.

Everybody has a picnic.
