workin' 9 to 5 (+3 hours, give or take)

So. I really like my job. It requires a huge amount of detailed organization and good writing skills. I like those things. Also, I get to learn stuff about a lot of very interesting Indians. Unfortunately, the job has been vacant for months and the entire project has been in the hands of one lone and very brave woman who has been doing work that legitimately requires four people. Now there are two of us so, while it's not perfect, it's at least better.

I have worked many hours of overtime, including weekends, because there is a backlog. However, once we get caught up, I think that it is a very manageable amount of work. I thought, at first, that I was just really happy with it because I had been sitting around doing nothing for too long. But now I think that I even legitimately like it. Which is good.

And the money stinks, but it is all just extra income at this point and we are going to buy a house with it. That project will be elucidated upon at a time in the future.
