to colombo

We just hired a car and driver, screw the cost, because we were both sick and it was a long way back to Colombo and we just didn't have it in us to try to navigate the buses and/or the trains back. So we had a lovely drive, despite our fevers and chills and headaches and etc. etc. And did I mention that I'm pregnant? Sheesh.

We got there, checked in to our hotel, went for a walk on the beach because we HAD to see SOMETHING in Colombo, and then watched World Cup until it was time to leave. We were just too tired and felt too horrible.

I like football.

Sri Lanka is truly a beautiful place, despite our crappy trip.
